Commanding Officers of the 4th Battalion
In 1900 two new Regular Battalions were raised and numbered the 3rd and 4th Battalions. As a result the old 3rd and 4th (Militia) Battalions were renumbered 5th and 6th (Service) Battalions.
The new 4th Battalion was formed at Aldershot in February 1900 and was first quartered at Blenheim Barracks, North Camp. The Battalion was then raised in Ireland on the 10th March 1900. Its first commanding officer was Colonel A. G. Chesney.
Below is a list of all the officers who have commanded the 4th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment from 1900 to 1922.
