Killed in action on the 21st August 1916 (age 25) south of Thiepval.

He entered the theatre of war in France on the 16th August 1915.
The oldest of three sons of John Fredrick Talbot and Anne Jones, and lived at 22 Halesowen Road in Netherton.
He enlisted into the Worcestershire Regiment at Dudley with his youngest brother Henry.
