Captain Frederick Fenwick Lawson, M.C. (253007) - 1st Battalion Worcestershire Regiment

Captain Lawson was killed in action on the 27th March 1945 (age 22) at the "Battle of the Autobahn" at Vehlingen by ememy machine gun fire. At the time he was second-in-command of 'A' Company.

He was commissioned as an officer in to the Green Howards (Yorkshire Regiment) and attached to the 1st Battalion Worcestershire Regiment on the 28th December 1944.

He was th son of Alfred and Minnie Lawson, of Hall Green, Birmingham.
