The 18th Battalion was formed at Sutton
Coldfield on the 16th July 1919 but its existence only lasted a few months
and was finally disbanded on the 3rd September 1919. Strictly speaking this
was not a wartime battalion but its formation was due to the First World
War. Very little detail is known about this unit.
