Charles Worrall

Hi, I am trying to find out a bit more about my great-grandfather, Charles Worrall. I know that he was a Private at the Norton Barracks around the end of 1905.

I have tried to search the available online military records and think that I have narrowed him down to one of two men with that name who served in the Worcestershire Regiment during WW1. I have found medal cards for both men with their regimental numbers but cannot track down any other service history.

The possible candidates are:
Worrall C Pte 6686 who was KIA 07.11.1914
Worrall C Pte 24122

If anyone can help by telling me if either of these men enlisted prior to 1906, and any other information I would be most grateful.

6686 worrall suggests to me a pre war regular /reservist

soldier died in the great war states he was born in oldswinford and was residence in stourbridge, he is on the stourbridge memorial

I was just about to list a medal to Charles Worrall 24122 on itchee.com.au
I had bought it with another medal (if was ment to be a pair) but they are an odd match.
I was going to put it up for $145 au.
I also have some German stuff I will list on itchee
