Service Number - HELP

Full Name: George Edward Jones
D.O.B: 22.04.1921
Rank: Private
Lived: Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire
Served: 1941-1946 with worcestershire regimant
Was in Broadstairs,Kent in 1941
Was in Berlin 1945-1946
I believe that both the Worcestershire regiment and the Dorsetshire regiment suffered such heavy losses in the Caan campaign that they amalgamated my Father was involved at this time and possessed both cap badges, following this they passed through Arnhem and was one of the first into Berlin
If you have any information that could help me i would be extremely grateful.
