The 33rd Division held a horse race meeting at Ayette in France on 7th May 1917. The 2nd Worcestershire Battalion won the trophy for gaining most number of points at the races. The trophy was silver trumpet presented by Captain Bernard Law Montgomery DSO who later became Field Marshal Montgomery 1st Viscount Montgomery of Alamein. Does anyone know if this this trophy is still in existence or have a photograph of it? Mike Hall
