Service with the Cameronians

My father, Edward Vivash, having served with the 3rd and later the 1st Battalion of the Worcestershire Regiment in India, was mobilzed from the Reserve in January 1927. He went with a small detachment of the Regiment to serve with the 1st Battalion the Cameronians in Hong Kong. They returned in November of that year. Does anyone have information of this event?
