Good Conduct Badges

Does anyone have any more information about 'Good Conduct Badges' which would have been awarded by the 29th Regiment during the 1860's - 1870's? My Great, Great Grandfather, Corporal Hugh Blackford (served from 1860-1871) appears to have recieved two.
