Which Company

Could anyone tell me how i could find out which company of the Worcestershire Regiment my father would have been in, the only information which i have is that he was in the 2nd Battalion stationed in India from 1936 to 1941 where he then joined the 151/156 Parachute Battalion A company.

Plus i have seen a lot of portrait type photo's of soldiers on the internet and various other places, were these taken officially of every soldier and kept with their file, or are they just done at random.

I have a regimental magazine coving this period.
Please give me your soldier's name and will have a look.
I also keep in touch with a former 2 Worcs soldier who was in India during the time you mention.

The person i'm asking about is my Father, Frederick Edwards, here's a link that will tell you more about him and might jog some memory's of the former soldiers you know, (you might have to copy and past the link as it's showing an error)

Hello, I am Irish warrior !
My old comrade AFFLECK ex 2nd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment (China c1934)
died in 2011 aged 95. I am currently a young 73, I never served in the Worcs. or
Sherwoods.
